The aim of the project relates to the peer review of the 3 electrical metrology laboratories at LNE: High Frequency, Fundamental and Low Frequency
Peer Review of the HF power primary standards of LNE Electrical High Frequency Department
The aim of the project relates to the peer review of the RF power primary laboratory supporting the CMC line LNE/98; 99 following the replacement of the current engineer by a newly recruited engineer. The peer audit plan includes a visit to LNE-Trappes by a (RF) Electricity Expert.
The project objectives are to verify the provisions and applications implemented by the laboratory for its QMS to meet the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and those of the CIPM MRA. The audit team is made up of an expert in Electrical Metrology from PTB (expert in RF).
Peer review of the primary standards of LNE Fundamental Electrical Metrology Department
As a support for the CMCs claimed by LNE in the framework of the self-declared quality management system for the technical fields: DC voltage, DC resistance, capacitance, peer visits are planned in LNE-Trappes in 2024 with reviewers from BIPM:
- DC voltage: 4 April 2024 with an expert in Electrical Metrology from BIPM
- DC resistance and capacitance: 19 and 20 June 2024 with an expert in Electrical Metrology from BIPM
The corresponding CMC capabilities are: 1, 12,13, 34
Peer Review of the primary standards of LNE Electrical Low Frequency Department
The aim of the project relates to the peer review of the low frequency primary standards calibration in the field of Power, AC/DC Thermal Transfer in the laboratory and High Current on-site and laboratory. The peer audit plan includes a visit to LNE-Trappes by an Electricity Expert, scheduled from 18 March to 22 March 2024.
The proposed project aims to verify the provisions and applications implemented by the laboratory for its QMS to meet the requirements of the ISO/IEC 17025 standard and those of the CIPM MRA.
The audit team is made up of an expert in Electrical Metrology from METAS
Costs related to this project are fully paid by LNE.
