International Comparison of the High Temperature Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometer (HTSPRT) and the Thermocouples (Type S and Type S and Au/Pt) at the Silver Fixed Point 961,78 °C

Project Description

The Comparison is planned in the frame of EMPIR 14RPT 05 Project "Developing traceable capabilities in thermal metrology" The objective is to compare the calibration of the High Temperature Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometer (HTSPRT) and the Thermocouples (Type S and Au/Pt) in the Silver fixed point cell (961.78 °C). The comparison results are intended to be used to provide link with 820 comparison with UL- MIRS/UL-FE/LMK as participant in this comparison (UME is interested lab), support of CMCs (DMDM) and some labs are willing to have the opportunity for participating and checking their systems.

The evaluation of the measurement results is in progress. It is expected that Draft A would be finalised by the end of November 2020.

The measurements are completed by all participant laboratories; the reports were submitted.
