EURAMET Key Comparison of CO in Synthetic Air

Project Description

Analytic comparison as a follow-up of CCQM.K51 in a more convenient matrix (synthetic air) to meet today’s lower CO level in ambient air solving European traceability for environmental measurements.

Linked to the WMO CO_X2014A scale via measurement of the cylinders at the Global GAW / ICOS Station Zugspitze (measurement of every set).
A set of two 2 cylinders with 5 µmol/mol and 1,5 µmol/mol CO in synth air as traveling standards from commercially available provider (SIAD, Italy).

Every cylinder set (1.5 + 5 µmol/mol) will be measured by a laboratory that uses the WMO/GAW standard (UBA Zugspitze).

Participants must pay the shipping costs to the next lab and a share of the costs for gas cylinders.
