Dynamic high pressure comparison

Project Description

Bilateral study, dynamic high pressure comparison, range 10 MPa to 500 MPa.
The aim of the study is to test the comparison protocol, to find a best and most informative way to compare dynamic pressures, to study effects of charge amplifiers and to study effects of different types of dynamic pressure pulses (step vs. peak).

Final Report 2023-09-18

It has been decided to terminate this project. We experienced issues with the stability of the transfer standards and therefore solid conclusions about the results cannot be made. Moreover, the measurement standard used at VTT MIKES has been updated since and therefore it is not possible to resume the measurements.

Progress Report 2021-05-05

Draft A in progress.

Progress Report 2018-07-23

Transfer standards from KRISS (2 dynamic pressure transducers with associated charge amplifier) are measured twice at KRISS and in between once at MIKES. The transfer standards from MIKES ( 2 dynamic pressure transducers with associated charge amplifier) are measured once at MIKES and once at KRISS. The second round of measurements for this set at MIKES is not done yet, and is delayed due to dynamic pressure reference standard maintenance.
