Bilateral comparison on Spectral regular transmittance

Project Description

This project involves the extension of the CCPR key comparison CCPR-K6 on spectral regular transmittance of light at wavelengths of 380, 400, 500, 546, 600, 635 and 700 nm. The transfer standards used will be colored glass filters with nominal transmittance of 92%, 56%, 10% and 1%. NMi-VSL will act as linking laboratory to the corresponding CCPR-K6 comparison. The administrative part is organized by BIM.

Final Report 2017-05-31

The comparison has been completed and results are published in the KCDB.

Progress Report 2017-01-25

In September 2008 the Technical protocol was submitted to CCPR. The first measurements in VSL Dutch Metrology Institute started in October 2008. Measurements in BIM were performed in November 2008. Second measurements in VSL Dutch Metrology Institute were completed at the end of January 2009. From the beginning of February 2009 the Draft A of the comparison report is in progress. In May 2009 Draft A of the comparison report was circulated between participants for data review. In January 2010 Technical Protocol was approved by CCPR. During 2011 the comparison report was almost completed except a part with link to key comparison PR-K6. At the beginning of February 2012 the link to key comparison PR-K6 is under preparation. In March 2014 Draft A was sent to VSL for comments. In January 2015 Draft a was completed and agreed with VSL. On 9th February 2015 Draft B was submitted to TC-PR chairman for approval from CCPR WG. In February 2016 EURAMET PR-K6.2 Draft B was reviewed and several comments from WG-KC members were sent to participants for corrections. The corrected Draft B became Draft B-2. On 15th September 2016 Draft B-2 was submitted to TC-PR chairman for approval from CCPR WG.
