Interested in contributing to the 2019 ENG and ENV measurement research calls

The French National Measurement Institute LNE (Laboratoire national de métrologie et d'essais) will be hosting a workshop to collect ideas for topics for next years’ EMPIR Energy and Environment calls. More information will be provided in due course, including the final agenda. ‘We welcome everyone, whether intending to co-ordinate a project or not, to contribute to the discussion and help identify the key research topics’, says Gert Rietveld convenor of EURAMET’s Task Group for Energy. Andrea Merlone, convenor of the Task Group for Environment, emphasises ‘Representatives of international institutions will be invited to give key note lectures: this will ensure that all project submissions align with stakeholder needs and provide sufficient impact, also progressing previously established cooperation’.

Please note that this workshop will cover both the Energy and Environment call for joint research projects.

 Preliminary program:

  • Energy call workshop: Monday 22 October afternoon and Tuesday 23 October morning
  •  Environment call workshop: Tuesday 23 October afternoon and Wednesday 24 October morning

 Who should attend:

  •  Stakeholders with metrology needs in the areas of Energy or Environment
