The international metrological calendar has been busy over the last few months with important events from around the world featuring considerable contribution from EMRP projects. Examples include the Nineteenth Symposium on Thermophysical Properties and GAS 2015.

On 21-26 June the Nineteenth Symposium on Thermophysical Properties was held in Boulder, USA. This is a well-established series of conferences organised by NIST and the Joint ASME/AIChE Committee on Thermophysical Properties. The conference aims to coordinate the exchange and dissemination of the latest information concerning thermophysical properties of substances to the scientific and engineering communities. Six presentations were given on EMRP project results; example projects include 'Metrology for thermal protection materials' (SIB52 Thermo) and 'Metrology for biogas' (ENG54 biogas).

On 10-12 June 2015 the 8th International Gas Analysis Symposium & Exhibition was held in Rotterdam, Netherlands. This biennial event, which is the world-leading forum for gas measurement experts and the speciality gas industry, attracted approximately 250 delegates and had exhibitions from 26 companies. At least ten presentations were given on the EMRP project results; example projects include 'Metrology for ammonia in ambient air' (ENV55 MetNH3) and 'Metrology for biogas' (ENG54 biogas) which provided six EMRP-related contributions.
