EMPIR project to present at two international photovoltaic events
European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference, Brussels, 24 – 28 September 2018
Monitoring and simulation of the performance and reliability of photovoltaics in the built environment training school, 23 – 26 October, Cyprus
EMPIR project <link research-innovation search-research-projects details>Advanced PV energy rating (16ENG02, PV-Enerate) aims to provide the measurement infrastructure, techniques and guidance to support emerging photovoltaic (PV) technologies, which have the potential to significantly reduce the cost of photovoltaic energy.
The work of the project, and details of how stakeholders from photovoltaic research, technologies and applications can benefit, will be presented at two international events:
1. Parallel session at the European PV Solar Energy Conference (EU PVSEC), the largest international Conference for Photovoltaic research, technologies and applications. This conference and exhibition gathers the global photovoltaic community to present and discuss the latest developments and innovations in Photovoltaics. Conference further information and registration
2. Members of the project consortium will be running a session at the Monitoring and simulation of the performance and reliability of photovoltaics in the built environment training school. The school will focus on the special requirements and challenges of integrating PV into the built environment and grids, with a focus on the determination and prediction of performance and reliability. School trainees (students, researchers, educators and practitioners) will participate in expert lectures, interactive seminars and practical courses.Training school further information and registration
This EMPIR project is co-funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the EMPIR Participating States.
