EMPIR Call 2014: Metrology for Industry - Finalisation of Evaluation Process

The evaluation process of the Stage 2 Call for Joint Research Project (JRP) proposals has been finalised. Following the Review Conference held in November, where external independent referees evaluated and ranked the proposals, the EMPIR Committee agreed on a final list of selected JRPs to fund.

The following project proposals have been selected and will be invited for contract negotiation

•    Advanced 3D chemical metrology for innovative technologies
•    Microwave measurements for planar circuits and components
•    Metrology for length-scale engineering of materials
•    Enhancing process efficiency through improved temperature measurement
•    Optical metrology for quantum enhanced secure telecommunication
•    Metrology for manufacturing 3D stacked integrated circuits
•    Industrial standards in the intermediate pressure-to-vacuum range
•    Metrology for the electrical power industry
•    Metrology for highly-parallel manufacturing
•    Metrology for 5G communications
•    Metrology for humidity at high temperatures and transient conditions
•    Metrology for innovative nanoparticles
•    Metrology for the photonics industry - optical fibres, waveguides and applications
•    Torque measurement in the MN•m range
