CIPM task group Climate Change and Environment stakeholder meeting
The First CIPM STG-CENV stakeholder meeting will assess progress since the 2022 BIPM-WMO Workshop on Metrology for Climate Action.
EURAMET was pleased to be partner of the 2022 workshop with contributions from the European Metrology Network for Climate and Ocean Observation as well as from other EMNs and Technical Committees.
The forthcoming meeting will review activities addressing recommendations that resulted from the 2022 workshop.
This CIPM Sectoral Task Group on Climate Change and the Environment task group was established as a result of one of the recommendations - for there to be a global focal point for metrology activities related to climate change and environment.
