Attend Europe’s International Metrology Congress (CIM 2021)
The 20th International Metrology Congress (CIM 2021): 7 - 9 September 2021 in Lyon, France
On 7 - 9 September 2021, Lyon (France) will be hosting Europe’s much-awaited bi-annual International Metrology Congress (CIM). The congress will be taking place in partnership with the Measurement World exhibition, and for the first time, in conjunction with France’s leading industrial exhibition, ‘Global Industrie’.
Offering a unique opportunity for showcasing advances in industry and R&D across the spectrum of the European measurement science community, the congress aims to build on participants’ shared knowledge of measurements, analysis and testing processes across 3 main applications this year - Industry 4.0, the Green Deal and health. Around 200 technical presentations at round table sessions will cover cutting-edge research milestones in fields such as mechanics, electromagnetism and photonics, as well as data, AI and quantum technologies.
With around 1000 participants expected to attend, CIM partners look forward to the prospect of bringing the international metrology community together with business and industrial stakeholders in an exciting setting. This year, the usual congress set up will be additionally augmented by its association with the ‘Global Industrie’ exhibition, making way for a particular shared focus on Industry 4.0 topic areas. Attendees can also expect new experiences in the form of innovative post-pandemic solutions, including video pitches and thematic tracks across the length of the programme.
The deadline for the Call for Papers to CIM 2021 has been extended to 30 January 2021. For more information about the event, or to submit a paper for consideration, please visit the CIM 2021 website >>
