23rd Kalorimetrietage Conference: for all aspects of calorimetry

Futuristic System Core / Reactor

12 – 14 June 2019, PTB Braunschweig, Germany

The project

EMPIR project <link research-innovation search-research-projects details>‘Industrial process optimisation through improved metrology of thermophysical properties’ (17IND11, Hi-TRACE) is working to establish new methods for characterising the thermophysical properties of any solid material up to 3000 °C, and launch a network of reference facilities and materials available to industry.

Results from the project, including details of a drop calorimeter currently under development, will be presented by project partner PTB at the conference ‘Kalorimetrietage’.

The conference

The calorimetry days are organised by the PTB and the GEFTA. They are intended for those who are interested in all aspects of calorimetry and its applications in chemistry, physics, biology, medicine, industry and environmental sciences.

The scientific programme will be accompanied by an exhibition of calorimetric instruments from manufacturers active in this field.
