EURAMET Symposium on ‘Energy for the future’

Speakers confirmed

A scientific symposium on 'Energy for the future' will be held by EURAMET on Thursday 26 May 2016 in Oslo, Norway. EURAMET is happy to confirm the following top-class speakers at the event:

  •  Josefine Selj and Helge Thoresen from the Norwegian Institute for Energy Technology (IFE) who will talk about 'Solar cell technology - current status and challenges' and 'The Halden Reactor Project - Instruments and Measurements for Nuclear Research and Development'.
  • Albert Dalhuijsen and Gert Rietveld from the Dutch National Metrology Institute (VSL) who will talk about 'European Metrology Research on Liquefied Natural Gas' and 'European Metrology Research on Electrical Grids supporting the Energy Transition'.

The scientific symposium is traditionally held during EURAMET's General Assembly week. It provides attendees insights into the latest scientific developments of a specific topic and the opportunity for the plenum to discuss with technical experts.The symposium is open to the public and free of charge however registration is necessary.
