Happy EURAMET anniversary!
Today is EURAMET's birthday as it was inaugurated on 11 January 2007.
20 years earlier, in 1987, its predecessor EUROMET was founded. For 30 years EURAMET and EUROMET have worked for closer collaboration and innovation in metrology.
That is why EURAMET celebrates 20+10=30 years of collaboration in European metrology this year.
On behalf of EURAMET we would like to thank everyone - current and former members, friends, partners and stakeholders - who contributed to the successful development of EUROMET and EURAMET and who made this association so special and successful.
An exciting anniversary year lies ahead of us and we look forward to celebrating with you in 2017.

EURAMET celebrates 20+10=30 years anniversary in 2017
11 January 2007 was the day of EURAMET's inauguration. 20 years earlier, in 1987, its predecessor EUROMET was founded. 30 years of collaboration in European metrology are the result of these two important events. To celebrate this, EURAMET is preparing several actions for the anniversary year.
Newsletters
A series of newsletters will provide interesting insights on EURAMET and short flashbacks on the history of European metrology
Anniversary publication
The anniversary publication will include EURAMET's and EUROMET's achievements, insights into how it all began and visions for the future
New EURAMET slogan
The anniversary year is the perfect occasion to introduce a new EURAMET slogan
Anniversary symposium
On Thursday, 18 May 2017 EURAMET's anniversary symposium will take place. It will be held during the General Assembly week in Madrid (Spain), where the EUROMET memorandum of understanding was signed in 1987.
Participation at CIM 2017
EURAMET will take part at the International Metrology Congress in Paris from 19 to 21 September 2017.
Details and further actions will be announced throughout the anniversary year.

EMPIR Call 2016: Finalisation of evaluation process
The evaluation process of the Stage 2 Call for 2016 has been finalised. The EMPIR Committee agreed on a final list of selected projects to fund.
EMPIR Call 2017: Stage 1 OPEN
EURAMET announces the launch of the 2017 call for Industry, Fundamental, Normative and Research Potential. Deadline: 20 February 2017, 23:59 CET.
