Workshop: Metrology infrastructure for high-pressure gas and liquified hydrogen flows

29 & 30 May 2024, PTB Braunschweig Germany

EMPIR project Metrology infrastructure for high-pressure gas and liquified hydrogen flows (20IND11, MetHyInfra) addresses the need for a holistic approach to traceability in hydrogen flow application, which is required for a shift to renewable energy supply. This workshop is a great opportunity to hear about the results of the project from overview lectures and in-depth workshops.

The workshop will bring together experts from the gas industry, meter/sensor manufacturers, associations and mobility industries representatives, energy suppliers, business analytics, metrology, academia, and standardization.

Why should you attend?

Attending this workshop will enable you to learn about the latest developments in providing SI-traceability for very high-pressure and liquefied hydrogen gas flows through talks and poster sessions.

This workshop is aimed at experts and newcomers to this subject area, and will include:

  • a one-day hands-on / live demonstration of critical nozzle calibration

  • project knowledge and results

  • importance of accurate and traceable flow measurement with a special focus on calibration with critical nozzles

  • lab tours

  • networking session
