The Technical Committee for Electricity and Magnetism (TC-EM) is concerned with the discussion of technical issues which are important to industry and researchers and which are related to electrical metrology. Technical areas include:

Electrical quantum effects (Quantum Hall effect, Josephson effect, single electron tunnelling), realisation of the electrical units in the SI
DC voltage, current and resistance
AC/DC transfer, AC voltage and current, impedance
AC power and energy
Electric and magnetic fields
RF power, scattering parameters, RF impedance and noise
Electrical measurements on materials
