After consultation of the partners NPL, IEN and METAS the comparison started in September 2001. The main object is to investigate potential problems in EUROMET 393 as discussed during the Euromet HF experts meeting in 2000. After consultation with the Euromet Electricity TC Chairman it was decided to extend the comparison to SMU and SP and to give the project the status of a EUROMET key comparison. As NRC might have some problems with their results in the world-wide loop of GT-RF 98-1, the coordinator invited NRC to join the project.
The first loop (NPL, IEN, METAS) is finished in December 2001. After intermediate measurements at NMi VSL the DUTs are now at NRC. After measurements at SMU and SP the devices are expected to be returned to NMi VSL during spring 2002 for final measurements.
The Draft A report is expected to be finished by the end of 2002.
Final Report 2008-10-31
The comparison has been completed and the results are available in the KCDB.
