Traceable reference systems for testing with superimposed high voltages

Traceable measurement systems and calibration services are developed for composite and combined wave shapes with a target uncertainty of less than 2 %.

Coordinator: Johann Meisner

Traceable measurement systems and calibration services are developed for composite and combined wave shapes, with a target amplitude uncertainty of less than 2 %. A modular universal voltage divider, which is a traceable reference system, is designed and built for use in the calibration of the measurement systems that have been designed for measuring composite and combined waveforms. The low voltage instruments and the software designed earlier in this project are used as a part of the reference system. The work includes the development of a modular universal voltage divider for use in the calibration of the measurement systems that have been designed for measuring composite and combined waveforms.  The verification of the performance of commercial systems and the modular universal voltage divider (traceable reference system) is achieved via a measurement campaign.

Commercial reference measuring systems and the new modular universal voltage divider are characterised using the new test setup. The modular universal voltage dividers are then validated for use in reference systems.
