SMSI Sensor and Measurement conference to have a metrological focus in 2020

Electronic sensor measuring the temperature in an industrial factory

22-25 June 2020, Nuremberg Exhibition Centre, Germany – Call for papers ends 31 January 2020!

The Conference

In June 2020, the Sensor and Measurement Science International (SMSI) conference will be taking place in Nuremberg, Germany. Scientific conferences in the field of sensors and measurement technology have been ongoing in Nuremberg for more than 30 years, and with this upcoming event, several institutions and organisations will be able to develop essential networks for collaborative research.

The SMSI conference will have a metrology focus for the first time, and it will alternate bi-annually with the International Metrology Congress (CIM). It will provide a platform for worldwide experts to hold symposia, Q&A sessions and presentations – bringing together specialists from sensors and instrumentation, measurement science and metrological infrastructure.

Partners from industry, national and international measurement institutions are also invited to take part in the event. This conference will be held completely in English.

Call for Papers

To help the SMSI conference become a worldwide leading event in these three fields, conference organisers are inviting submissions of short papers.

Please note that the submission of a short paper requires at least one author to register, attend the conference and present the research – and authors are requested to submit their short papers for presentation by 31 January 2020. Conference organisers will ensure that all short papers undergo a meticulous peer-review process.
