Sensor and Measurement Science International Conference 2021 - Call for papers

SMSI as hybrid conference: face-to-face and virtual

With preparations for the conference Sensor and Measurement Science International (SMSI) begun, the committee are now inviting the submission of papers and poster presentations by 30 November 2020.

However, those who had already been accepted as authors for the SMSI 2020 conference will be automatically included unless a modified version of the work is submitted.

Delayed by the COVID-19 pandemic, SMSI 2020 was postponed, and the conference is now planned to take place in Nuremberg, Germany from 3 to 6 May 2021.

As well as this, both authors and visitors will be able to take part virtually by accessing the conference online. SMSI 2021 will be held in parallel to the world’s leading trade fair for sensors, testing and instrumentation, the SENSOR + TEST, and will offer lectures, poster sessions, tutorials, and a Science Slam for young scientists.

The SMSI 2021 is based on three technical pillars; sensor and instrumentation, measurement science, and system of units and metrological infrastructure.
