Report on the second industry theme within the European Metrology Research Programme is available online
The second set of industry projects, which ran from 2013 to 2016, used cutting-edge measurement science to drive innovation in industry and facilitate new products. They focused on new applications at the crossroads between different technologies to improve efficiency and effectiveness in high-tech industries and key industrial sectors, in order to ensure European industry remains globally competitive.
Now completed, research continues in EMRP’s successor, the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR).
This EMRP joint research project is part of EURAMET’s European Metrology Research Programme. The EMRP was jointly funded by the EMRP participating countries within EURAMET and the European Union.
EMPIR projects are co-funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the EMPIR Participating States.
