EMPIR project publishes paper in international chemistry journal
Paper published during first year of three-year project
EMPIR project ‘Realisation of a unified pH scale’ (17FUN09, UnipHied) is working to establish a reliable and universally applicable procedure for measuring the acidity of any substance. It will also develop a validated set of calibration standards for a wide variety of applications. This work will support and strengthen EU manufacturing and innovation in industries from pharmaceuticals to petrochemicals and semiconductors.
The project has had a paper entitled ‘Realisation of a unified pH scale’ published in the prestigious journal Chemistry International, from the International Union of Pure and Applied Chemistry.
