EURAMET Association of European National Metrology Institutes:
5th Anniversary

EURAMET celebrates its 5th Anniversary on 11th January this year. On that date in 2007 in Berlin, the new Association of National Metrology Institutes in Europe was formed, replacing the earlier EUROMET dating from the 1980’s.

During its first five years, EURAMET has grown in membership to 37 countries actively working together in disseminating traceability to the SI, building metrological infrastructure and not least is proud, through the EMRP, to be implementing one of the European Research Area’s most integrated joint research programmes.
