Join free webinar on rate-of-change of frequency in smart grids metrology

Webinar - Business Chalkboard Background

Friday, 17 May 2019 at 15:00 UTC

The project

EMPIR project 'Standard tests and requirements for rate-of-change of frequency (ROCOF) measurements in smart grids' (15NRM04, ROCOF) is nearing its completion date. ROCOF is an essential measurement for electricity networks incorporating a large proportion of renewable resources to ensure the continuity and quality of electricity supply. The project has built on the achievements from EMRP projects ENG04 SmartGrid and ENG52 SmartGrid II to review, develop and optimise algorithms to measure ROCOF over the full range of network conditions, and develop compliance test protocols, to support the development of a ROCOF standard.

The webinar

Results from the project, which is nearing its completion date, will be presented at the ROCOF Metrology Webinar on Friday, 17 May at 15:00 UTC.

All are welcome to join this webinar.
