Join this STAIR EMPIR webinar to identify standardisation needs
Friday, 26 October 2018, 14:00 – 15:00 CEST
The webinar
This webinar will focus on identifying standards needs for the forthcoming 2019 EURAMET Normative Call for Projects, where Normative projects aim to develop the measurement methods and techniques required for standardisation.
During the webinar, the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR) process will be explained and how it links with CEN-CENELEC, CEN is the European Committee for Standardisation and CENELEC is the European Committee for Electrotechnical Standardisation. The kind of needs EMPIR is looking for will be explained.
Examples from previous years will illustrate how metrology research has contributed to standardisation activities.
The standardisation needs coming from this consultation will be published on EURAMET website in January 2019.
A STAIR (STAndards, Innovation and Research) EMPIR webinar brings together standardisers, researchers and innovators in order to discuss and identify standardisation needs and opportunities for a specific area of concern. This webinar is jointly organised by CEN-CENELEC and EURAMET.
Who should attend?
The webinar is open to all experts participating in the standardisation process.
