EMPIR project Hybrid metrology for this films in energy applications (16ENG03 Hymet) will develop new capabilities to assess thin film performance to aid their deployment in novel energy applications.

The project consortium will run an Autumn Physics School on Metrology for Thin Film Materials at the European Optical Society Biennial Meeting, on 8 to 12 October 2018. The physics school will be open to all conference participants and will focus on disseminating project results to the next generation of scientists and engineers.

Netherlands is a hot spot for photonics in Europe and the strong optics research and industry in Delft makes it a perfect location for the symposium and physics school.

Further information and registration instructions.

This EMPIR project is co-funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the EMPIR Participating States.
