Biogas Science 2018 - International conference on anaerobic digestion
Torino, Italy 17 – 19 September 2018
EMPIR project <link research-innovation search-research-projects details>Metrology for biomethane (16ENG05 Biomethane) will develop standardised test methods for key parameters, including impurities, to be monitored when biomethane is injected into the natural gas grid and used as a transport fuel. The project consortium will liaise closely with the biogas industry, regulators and biomethane testing laboratories to ensure that the developed test methods are robust, efficient in use and can readily be implemented.
Results from the project will be presented at the Biogas Science 2018 international conference in Torino, Italy from 17 to 19 September 2018.
The conference programme will include a wide range of topics: from microbiology to production and utilisation of biogas, from digestate post treatment and best use in agriculture to life cycle and life cost assessment. It will be organised by the Department of Agricultural Forest and Food Sciences (DISAFA) of the University of Torino. Delegates will include industry, research and production sectors.
This EMPIR project is co-funded by the European Union's Horizon 2020 research and innovation programme and the EMPIR Participating States.
