Beat Jeckelmann (Switzerland) is EURAMET's new Chairperson

EURAMET is delighted to announce that Dr Beat Jeckelmann, the Delegate of METAS (the Federal Institute of Metrology of Switzerland), has taken over the position of EURAMET Chairperson. He was elected by the General Assembly in 2014 and started his three year term in June 2015.

News on the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR)

EMPIR Delegation Agreement signed -
600 million Euro Metrology Research Programme ready to go

EURAMET is happy to announce the signing of the Delegation Agreement for the European Metrology Programme for Innovation and Research (EMPIR). The document was signed by the European Union, represented by the European Commission, and EURAMET. This was the essential step for the realization of EMPIR.

Now open: Stage 2 of EMPIR Call 2015
EURAMET e.V. announces the launch of the Stage 2 EMPIR Call. It addresses the topic areas Metrology for Health, SI Broader Scope, Pre- and Co-normative projects and Research Potential. The call for proposals for Joint Research Projects (JRPs) will close on 5th October 2015.

EURAMET is excited to announce the relaunch of its newly designed website available on www.euramet.org. The website has a new and modern design with some added features, while maintaining existing services and content.

Industry meets Science - CIM 2015

The 17th International Congress of Metrology is to be the meeting-point for technical exchanges between all the actors of measurement: industrial users of equipments, technical experts, public and private laboratories, manufacturers and service providers.The event takes place from 21 to 24 September 2015 (CIM 2015) in Paris (France) together with the ENOVA Show.
