European Metrology Research Programme (EMRP)
Since 2009, the EMRP has enabled European metrology institutes, industrial organisations and academia to collaborate on joint research projects within specified fields: industry, energy, environment, health, new technologies and SI units.
An annual call for research projects was issued between 2009 and 2013, with 119 projects selected for funding. Each project runs for three years with the final projects from the 2013 Call expected to report in 2017.
There are still opportunities for researchers and companies to get involved in EMRP joint research projects as collaborators. Contact the project coordinator for more details. The only remaining funding opportunities are for Early Stage Researcher Mobility Grants. Visit EMRP online for further details.
The EMRP is implemented by EURAMET, funded by 23 participating states and supported by the European Union. The Programme has a value of 400 M€.
