Congratulations to Annarita Baldan on her next term!

Congratulations to Annarita Baldan on her next term!

EURAMET’s European Metrology Network (EMN) for Energy Gases has been making great strides towards building a wide base, involving several key European metrology institutes, to provide high-level measurement expertise to industry stakeholders. Today, the network continues to determine and address the most pressing challenges facing energy industries related to fully establishing renewable gases as a fuel source across Europe.

Recently, Annarita Baldan (VSL, Netherlands) was re-elected by the primary contacts of the EMN as the Chair for another term. Her new term of office began on 1 March 2022 and will continue until the end of February 2025.

Annarita comments on her future plans for the EMN:

“My mission for the coming term is to continue the work with the same dedication and commitment. I believe that this network has the potential to engage with the main players of the energy gas transition, and therefore my goals are to promote the role of metrology in energy gases and to initiate synergies with industry, research organisations and other parties to address existing and future measurement challenges.”

We would like to congratulate Annarita and wish her all the best for her next term!
