International Webinar on Metrology Needs for Climate and Ocean Observation

Date: 2020-02-12 to 2020-02-13

12 - 13 February 2020

This webinar will be held by the European Metrology Network for Climate and Ocean Observation from 12 to 13 February 2020. It will prioritise activities and associated resources for metrological research to support needs identified by the community, building on the results of a survey launched in November 2019.

Survey and webinar
The final quarter of 2019 and the first quarter of 2020 will be used to create an initial prioritised list of stakeholder needs. A survey will identify potential areas for improved services and collaborative research between observational experts and metrologists; this survey is now available and will be open until December 2019: International Survey on Metrology Needs for Climate and Ocean Observation

The ‘long-list’ of stakeholder needs will be made available in early January 2020 and will be the basis of a series of webinar sessions on 12 and 13 February 2020.

To ensure that you are made aware of the survey and to find out more about the webinar, please register for our newsletter list at: www.euramet.org/climate-ocean. For further information please contact us at ClimOcNet@euramet.org.

Who should participate?
The webinar is aimed at those making or using observations of the atmosphere, land or ocean, using in situ and remote sensing techniques.
