EURAMET plans to strengthen its central management structure with a Secretary General to develop and implement policies and strategies. A job description is attached for information.
Defining an overall metrology strategy and agenda for Europe you will formulate the broad framework for the successful implementation of EMPIR (instruments, criteria, metrics, progress reporting on strategic objectives, etc). As you attract extra resources and interact at the highest levels you will widen EURAMET’s influence and have a significant personal impact on European metrology.
Having overall management responsibility for the EURAMET secretariat you will review governance and propose changes where appropriate. Supervising and executing decisions taken by the Board of Directors and the General Assembly you will ensure that EURAMET operates within its budgetary framework and that decisions fully comply with EURAMET governance.
Experienced at a senior management level, you will have deep knowledge of working with the European Commission and other European and International organisations, with the ability to work in a multinational organisation that serves the varying cultural needs of its members, connecting people and their different interests. Adept at converting ideas to concrete outcomes you will bring into play your excellent communication skills and financial experience.
